QuestionHave a older Samsung T.V. and Blue Ray disc player. No available HDMI ports and none that say ARC. 2 questions will just optical cord work?? And can i run the HDMI cable through my Samsung blue ray disc player???? Thank You.

- Answer The subwoofer is wireless as to the soundbar. To connect, plug the subwoofer into a power outlet. Turn on the soundbar. Look at the bottom back of the subwoofer for a button that says Bar Sync. With one hand, press that for 3 seconds. With the other hand, press both the Bluetooth AND the Vol + buttons on top of the soundbar for 5 seconds. The 4 LED lights that should be flashing while the devices match will go out once you have a connection. That's it.

- Answer hi, i have been able to use my tv remote with the polk. i hooked it up via the ARC setting on my tv, with just the hdmi cable. so yes, you can use it, but i don't know how exactly to make it work. other answers here may help you. good luck. one annoying thing for me is that the volume skips number using both the polk remote and my vizio remote. when i turn up the volume it goes from 22 to 25. every so often it works normally. still trying to work this out.

QuestionWhere in a room should the subwoofer be placed, in relation to the soundbar and internet wifi/router? The sound from the subwoofer seems to cut-out?

- Answer The sound bar connects to the subwoofer via Bluetooth, not WiFi. So it doesn’t matter where your router is. You just want the subwoofer close to the sound bar, because it is connecting directly to it with Bluetooth.

- Answer It comes with a wall template to mark the holes on the wall. There are two corresponding holes on the back side of the sound bar. No additional brackets required. It also comes with the two mounting screws in the box.

- Answer Hello, the Signa S2 soundbar is factory-paired with its subwoofer. The S2 soundbar includes its dedicated subwoofer, which cannot be replaced.

- Answer Hello, the wireless subwoofer provided for the Polk Audio S2 soundbar can only be used with the S2 soundbar; it cannot be paired with the other soundbars.

QuestionI have had this unit for about a year and now I cannot get the power light to come on. And yes it is plugged in. I have tried unplugging the hdmi and the power for over an hour and still will not power up.

- Answer Hello, The Signa S2 does not support wireless surround speakers, only the Magnifi series and the React sound bars can support the wireless surround speakers.
