I've wondered how larger fingers would work, guessing not well and I've never seen a larger extension, sorry.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Most pop sockets including this have two settings depending on how hard you pull. The tallest works fine for my fingers though they aren't the biggest. If that doesn't work for him look around for loops which are basically fabric or rubber loops that you can put a finger or two through.
