I've replaced 2 cards that lost the magnetic stripe. There are still a few places that use the stripe like Gas Stations, Car Washes and most importantly, Hotels! I was embarrassed at a high class hotel when my card kept declining. We used my wife's card (same card account) and it worked. That was when I realized why my cards were not working at the car wash. The cards were in the wallet for about 6 months before I started having issues.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Nope. There’s a protective layer inside the back portion of the wallet that blocks the magnets from the cards. As long as your cards don’t touch the OUTER back portion, you’re fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have not had an issue with my credit or debit cards not working. I do believe it would easily wipe the reprogrammable hotel cards. There is a logo on the back of the wallet that has a credit card with the prohibit logo over it, but that is meant to say you shouldn’t put a credit card between the wallet and the phone. From the PopSocket website: “Don’t Place Cards Against Back of Wallet“ and “Credit cards are shielded from magnets when in wallet”. It’s important to note that you should not use this wallet without a MagSafe case. I have a tech21 and an official apple MagSafe case and the tech21 case works so much better with the wallet because it’s not as slick.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. Credit cards work fine even months after carrying them. it can carry up to 5 but I find that it works best if it has 3-4 cards at a time.
