I have gotten a good 100 feet away with no walls. With walls about 25 to 30 feet. I do believe it says 30 feet. But like I said outside with nothing blocking the signal I have placed the speaker on my patio and walked over to my neighbor across the street and not only did it still pick up the signal but I could still hear it playing. [ I went about 50 to 60 feet away]
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Most Bluetooth devices have an effective range of about 300ft. Walls will interfere to a degree but I would think it should work fine in your case.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It should work. We have been as far away as maybe 30 feet, even through walls and one upstairs the other downstairs and is still working.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.30 feet
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This device brags about 30' range, but I can't go beyond 10' from the transmitter - even with no wall between it & a cell phone - & still get decent reception. If you want to be able to reach your cell phone in your room (wall between it & your sons' room), I'd recommend the MEE BT transmitter.
