• Unsure on specific accurate distance but i can be indoors with one and kids in pool outdoors and they are Crystal clear and that is a good 25-30 yards away and through the walls

• According to the book it says 1 mile. I have not tried it long distance. Ut around the house and short distance works great

• hi, not sure about open distance but think of a warehouse the size of a Homedepot and they can do the whole thing for sure.

• When we tested the distance for the walkie talkies, I drove down the street (approx 1/4 mile) and my son was still able to hear me while he was standing outside our home. The quality overall is great.
