Yes. I have this exact controller with the Mario edition switch. It plugs into the back of the docking station and works great! The docking station has a door that folds down and you’ll see the USB port to plug in the controller. Works really good, especially if you’re not really good at using the joy cons. I feel like it’s easier to use them the joy cons. Plus it has a 10 foot cord so it should give you plenty of reach while playing.

Absolutely. I use mine often especially for games like Mario Kart and Zelda.
