They are a set of extra buttons that can be programmed to replicate any other button on the controller. For example, you could set the back-left (AGL) button to work as pressing the A button would. Essentially they can either work as hotkeys or assist with general accessibility in your games.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.They programmable buttons you can map them to another button. There for accessibility, meaning you can map your jump button to the back buttons therefor not taking your thumb off the joystick when jumping. Very useful.
