Insulation only makes it slightly tricky trying to fish the cords behind the wall. But can be done. I used a fiberglass fishing rod to pull the cord through The horizontal boards makes it virtually impossible to fish the cord down through the wall.

A:AnswerThe cable connecting the power in the wall is about 4 feet. The extension cord that goes from the bottom portion to you actual outlet is about 6' if I remember correctly.
