The inside is removal, it is made out of stainless steel. I tend to wash dishes by hand so I can't confirm nor deny that it is dishwasher safe. If you cook with stainless steel pans its' the same as cleaning those. Really stuck on bits add soap and water heat it up use the green soft scouring pad to loosen and wash everything up. Finish Bar keepers cleaner to get it super spotless and shiny again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, the inner pot for this is stainless steel. It is dishwasher safe. There's no reason why "food grade" stainless steel would not be. But unlike the Instant Pot, the lid to this is not dishwasher safe. The manufacturer of this says to wash the inside of it without immersing it in water. That would also rule out dishwasher for the lid. I presume it's because this lid has an internal release mechanism for opening and closing the steam vent, and immersing it in water may cause corrosion or a residue buildup or some other damage to the internal mechanism. By the way, if you get a "lid" error from this cooker, it means that you use the glass lid and not the pressure cooker lid for that program.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes the inside is removable and it is stainless steel. Seems very durable. I have only cooked brisket and chicken breast in it and it works fast and food is moist and tender. Very easy to clean.
