Q: Questioni just bought my water dispenser and I’m having trouble with the door. It won’t stay closed, I close it and it swings back open. Why is it doing that?

• A:Answer Our water dispenser does not do that and has never done that. The door closes and stays closed. Perhaps you have a faulty one? I would return it and replace it. We really like ours a lot

In order to activate the cold water function of your Primo water dispenser, push top side of the green switch in to start cooling the water. If you do not want cold water, leave the switch in off position (bottom side pushed in. Best Regards, José R.

Q: QuestionIn California there will be planned electrical outages. Will the dispenser work without electricity?

• A:Answer Hi! Thank you for reaching out. Most of our machines will dispense whatever water is left in the reservoirs without electricity, but they will not heat or cool the water and the machine will not will not refill the reservoirs once it is empty. I would suggest getting one of our portable pumps for emergency situations. We have both manual pump and batter powered options.

• A:Answer Our dispensers are rated 500 W (420 hot/80 cold). They are rated for 6 Amps. Daily average consumption (24 hour period) is less than 0.87 kWH/day when at idle. Power consumption will vary based on consumer.

• A:Answer Yes! The "straw" (water uptake tube) that goes into the bottle has an adjustable sliding collar which allows for use with 3 or 5 gallon jugs.
