- Answer Insufficient information is provided. However assuming both printers and both computer devices support WiFi and wireless printing you are probably good to go. Your old printer probably still has the ability to reconnect wirelessly to your computing devices and vice versa. Go to network settings on your old printer and ask it to scan for available networks if it doesn’t connect automagically. You may have to enter your WiFi network (modem/router) password. Your two computer devices sound like they are set up to use the new printer already. They may still be able to “see the old printer too.

- Answer Sounds like you need to get the most up to date Samsung driver off the internet to your new Dell laptop. If you want to use TotalTech just take your laptop in to BestBuy and tell them what you need done. That is precisely the service TotalTech was designed for. If you wish to do this yourself it isn’t hard!. Dell may have the Samsung printer driver installed on your new Dell already or on their website but for sure Samsung will. Before I’d go to Samsung I’d probably try to install the driver from Control Panel, Devices, Printers and let Your Dell Printer search for your printer driver from all the many printer drivers Dell installed on your new computer. If this doesn’t work find your file on Samsungs support page, download it then “Install” the driver to your Dell system.

- Answer 1) Buy a new printer 2) Fix the printer yourself Printers aren’t usually worth fixing because hourly repair service costs will quickly exceed the cost of upgrading to a new printer with better features and ones which may provide cost savings on cheaper consumables such as laser cartridges and ink print cartridges.

QuestionPrinter issue ink consumption too fast. Hp 8020 model. I bought a black ink. And i just noticed it sudden ink consumed. I bought it days ago. I printed only 4 pages black and white. Then there is a lot of consumed stated on the graph in hp smart app.

- Answer I had the old Hp 6978. If your printer is old, you will have problems with Smart Print. It does not work on old printers. it causes the cartridge screen to freeze. Since the printer is in Michigan. What happened to me? HP did an upgrade using wiped out all the memory of the old printer and IP address. The system recognizes and looking for new cartridges that come with if it was new printer as a NEW Printer new IP number. The network old printer would not connect to the website. I had to at the time to go to Concast since the modem was there to update and not use the smart print at all which is the problem. do not use SMART PRINT on an OLD PRINTER. IT works great withHP new printer ONLY.
