“Is this Pro controller 100% wireless? Or can I use it while it's plugged into the Switch dock? I'm asking because I like using wired controllers that are plugged into the console. And does this controller ever overheats from charging for too long?”

I've used mine wired to the docked console and it works fine. Make sure you enable wired connection in settings or it will only use the connected cable to charge. For the second question, It does not warm significantly while charging at least the ones I had
