mike560 We manufacture many makes and models of treadmills every year. They each have similarities and differences. This model of the Pro 5000 is a 2020. The Pro 2000 is also from 2020. We believe the Smart Pro 5000 you are referencing is from 2016. No matter the year they were first released, each piece of equipment has a warranty and is designed for optimum use. The biggest difference between these models is the console. The Smart Pro 5000 does not have a touchscreen. Instead, it features buttons and a back-lit digital display along with an attached tablet with touchscreen for iFIT syncopation. The Pro 2000 and Pro 5000 have integrated touchscreens. This one looks more updated in appearance and screen size might be slightly larger. It lacks the tablet stand but they probably removed it to encourage people to use the built-in screen. We are enjoying it so far!
