“I last installed this frigidaire water filter for my frigidaire refrigerator in july of this year, how you soon does it need to be replaced or changed?”

Its every six months unless you use it a lot. There is a limit to how many gallons it will purify as well. It will tell you the number of gallons on the back of the package but I would go ahead and get a replacement

The owner’s manual for my Frigidaire says to change that filter every 6 months.
