As a individual who has made prescription eyewear for over ten years I would advise against having the stories made in your prescription. In short, yes, you can have them made in your prescription. However, that is going to add even more weight on your face due to the heavy weight of the glasses in general. Combine that with the glasses not being adjustable (they cannot be fitted to your head shape). This means the glasses are going to be very prone to falling off of your head. In conclusion, consumers are more than likely going to have to have wear straps or just be frustrated they wasted their time and return the glasses.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. As of now, no. I bought a pair (actually two, because I didn’t like the shiny black because they looked cheap) direct from Ray-Ban, took them to my eye doctor, who called Ray-ban and said that they must be done by Ray-ban when ordered. I called to verify and Ray-ban confirmed, so I sent them back as I don’t need fake glasses that have smart features. I even tried ordering the matte black ones with prescription lenses and it wouldn’t let me. The Ray-ban rep said I needed to clear my cache it should work. It didn’t.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes i believe you can have them made with your prescription, however thats only on rayban.com so i assume you must have them custom made that way, you cant buy a pair from bestbuy lets say, and then have them changed to your prescription
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I am sure you can but they would be uncomfortable since the sunglasses are a bit on the heavier side.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can have prescription lenses installed. However, you must have Ray-Ban install the lenses for the warranty to remain valid (per Ray-Ban website).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. The lenses are plain Jane, run of the mill polarized lenses. These are regular Raybans, so they accept prescriptions… however, talk with your eyeware specialist to see if they’ll do the custom lenses needed. Not all places accept outside frames, and many more are unsure about messing with tech glasses frames.
