The stand is not a charger, you could plug a usb cable into the stand and then into the headphones. The stand is pretty much for desk organization, and has a couple extra usb ports (because it uses one to power/program the lights in the base). If you plug in headphones to the 3.5mm jack and download Razer's software it can also provide 7.1 audio to headphones.

Very happy we purchased it nice to have the extra USB hubs and gives your headset cord plenty of distance because headset cable does not have to reach all the way to computer. Was on the fence of buying because of price just for stand but glad we did.
