Yes, it's normal for the mouse to click when booting your PC. The click you hear is the scroll wheel lock activating when the mouse receives power, so nothing to be concerned about! I had the same question before I realized what it is.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don’t think that’s happened with any mouse I’ve ever used and I’ve been PC gaming for 20+ years.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi - I'm not sure if it's normal or not but my mouse does the clicking sounds on computer startup too. But only on my gaming laptop, not on my work laptop. Not sure why.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.mine does not to this
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. That's because of the scroll wheel lock mechanism which can be clicked to disengage the electronic lock for free wheel scrolling.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve not had that problem before, so I’m not sure. Maybe try unplugging and plugging the mouse back in. Other than that, if it doesn’t affect the performance any, I’d say it’s probably just a weird thing.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yeah, completely normal
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Scroll mode is activated digitally (not a mechanical switch like Logitech). What you're hearing is probably the mouse setting the scroll mode when Windows loads and it gets profile information. Stonks do go up, too.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No clicking at startup, good quality mouse.
