“In the specifications, it says that there are 8 buttons. I'm only counting 7 (left-click, right-click, the scroll wheel click, the two increase/decrease DPI buttons, and the two buttons on the side). What is the 8th button?”

• There's a Profile button at the bottom.

• The 8th button is on the underside which upon clicked can, on the fly, change your razer profile; much like the dpi switches only it'll change settings, key maps, lighting etc.

• as said, there is a button on the bottom for profile. also though, some consider mouse wheel up and down as buttons as well. and you can usually program those as well. i like to set them to either cycle thru weapons, or melee attach.
