“Is this a good recording headset or is it's sound quality on the mic kinda mid”

The sound quality is mid (as for all mics) until you tune it on PC with the Razer Synapse 3 software, and update the headset drivers. As for tuning it, plug in the USB for the headset, open Razer Synapse, go to Audio, go to Mic, turn on monitoring sidetone when testing your mic, and then just mess with it till it sounds good. I set Mic: 100 Enhancement Volume Normalization: 22 (on) Vocal Clarity (off) Mic Noise Cancelation (on) Mic Equalizer (default) (Then make sure to turn monitoring side tone off when done)

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The overall sound quality of the mic is decent. Can be dialed in with software to sound phenomenal. But. That is a task in itself as most of us have multiple pc's and background noise. In game, using Warzone voice chat or proxy. Its super loud & needs compressed some so turn it down for sure as no setting will do so, yet. Definetly will pickup farts if you're not careful.
