- Answer It should work for ps4 xbox and PC but I do not know about Nintendo switch. When the switch is docked I know it works but undocked I do not currently know.

QuestionFor work, I require a high performing screen capture device for gaming on a desktop Mac. We have tried online software and it is not good enough quality. So, will this product record a game played on a Mac computer? Also is it USB or HDMI connection?

QuestionQuestion: Is this also compatible with the Nintendo 3DS and NEW Nintendo 3DS XL? In other words, can you use this to record gameplay from a NEW Nintendo 3DS XL and Nintendo 3DS XL? The reason why I asked that is because I'm curious.

- Answer I don't believe it's possible, since it needs to plug in directly with HDMI. Unless you can find some odd adapter for it, and unless there is some plug for it that's usb type C, then the answer is no.

QuestionI got the razer seiren x and I know that my Xbox one x doesn't support that.For my friends to hear me I would need to use the headset, and for my audio on my video I would use my seiren x mic. Would that work? Is there something else Youd recommend doing?

- Answer No. The Razer Ripsaw HD might not work for both of the devices mentioned as some of the features and customization can only be done using the Razer Synapse 3.

- Answer Yes. We recommend using a digital audio splitter like Voicemeter, which is really easy to use - it essentially sends audio both to your Ripsaw and headset or speakers. This is available as a feature in OBS as well.

QuestionMy son wants to be a Youtuber but the laptop he uses lags too much when recording. Can I hook this up to the laptop and does it act as a hard drive to store the output? I know this is a basic question but I cannot find if it’s as “simple” as that.

- Answer It will not work as a small gaming PC alone. The Razer Ripsaw HD is strictly a game capture card and requires a PC to function.

QuestionIf I were to buy this and hook it up so I could dual stream, would this make my main monitor turn off my gaming pc so I can pick it up on the stream PC? I bought a different capture card and it worked, but then my main monitor did not come on.

- Answer Hey there or pal, it would really depends on your setup and intent but let me try to help you out. I plu my console into the input, the plug another hdmi into the output, and into my rig. - Answer If you're referring to PS4, you'll need to first disable HDCP. To do that, on your PS4, go to Settings > System > uncheck the Enable HDCP box and you should be good to go.
