• yes, you can use the menu feature on the TV set. Once you have the antenna in place and powered up, you would use the menu button on the TV to find the "channels" area on the menu, and allow the set to automatically determine available channels. If you are not satisfied with the number of channels you have pulled in with the antenna, simply reposition the antenna and allow the TV to automatically determine available channels once again.

• Yes it will work without the remote control.you will have to change the channels manually and search for the channels thru you tv settings but it will work and pretty good too.
