Unfortunately you will have to purchase a better or higher powered antenna. You may get some channels if you have a newer digital tv. If I were you I would google tv antennas that receive up to 50 miles or 75 miles or even 100 miles to check the cost and weigh your options.

Unfortunately, the antenna didn't pick up all the channels; only a few. It's very difficult to understand why - we can only assume that traffic conditions, the proximity of the airport, etc., affected the ability of the antenna to pick up some signals. Strangely, their old rabbit ears on their old (CRT) TV picked up more; but the old rabbit ears couldn't be attached to the new TV, and the new rabbit ears didn't work any better than this HDTV antenna.

It depends on line of sight with the nearest tower, weather conditions, what materials your home is made out of (i.e. plaster walls kill signals), etc. My advice would be to purchase this from a local Best Buy if you can and just test it out. The return policy is pretty great if you take it back within 14 days and you can always then try to swapping it for a more expensive and higher powered antenna, but only if you need to after you've tested it.
