- Answer All you get is the microphone on a y-mount. Nothing else. The y-mount itself is neat because there is no adapter required for most boom arms. It has both a 3/8 or 5/8 thread. Note: This mic is very sensitive to 'plosives' and despite being advertised as having a built-in windscreen, I would suggest buying a cheap foam windscreen or pop filter.

- Answer This is an XLR microphone which requires an XLR audio interface to be plugged into. As long as the interface you use is compatible with MacOS you should be able to use this microphone without any issues. Try the Scarlet Solo that Best Buy sells on their website.

QuestionHi, I want to buy this mic, but am unsure what I need with it to make it work. Do I need to also purchase a stand? And also, I have a PC (not a MAC), do I plug these things into my PC? How does it work and what do I need to be aware of to make it work?

- Answer Yep! You most certainly need a stand. To use with your PC, you need microphone cable with a male jack on one end to fit into the audio sĺot on your pc. Enable the mucrophone in your settings

- Answer Like someone else already said, the Focusrite Scarlett Solo is your best bet. Sure, it costs more than the microphone itself but you won't be disappointed. The preamps on it are clean and quiet.
