No. The grips are designed for an exact fitting joy con, and these grips add an extra layer for protection. Great for using if you’re using the switch mobile but also great 24/7 protection too. Also fits on dock with no problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.While I do not have the Joy-Con grip that originally came with the Nintendo Switch system, I can offer this bit of advice. I do not believe that the Joy-Cons would fit in the grip after being placed inside of these protective shells because they add contour and thickness to the backsides. The protective shells do not interfere with the ability to slide the Joy-Cons onto the sides of the system for handheld play or charging purposes though!
