• Thank you for your inquiry. We would need the exact part number off the UPS to confirm which replacement battery it takes since Back-UPS ES 450 is just the family name. If it is a BE450G unfortunately this battery will not work in it. The BE450G would take an APCRBC114.

• I used my battery to fit in an APC 600. It fit perfectly. I have no way of knowing if this is the same battery size for the 450. I would pose that question to APC so they can give you the answer, as they would know best. Good Luck!

• It worked for my Back-UPS ES 550. It should work for ES 450. The device looks the same physical size.
