• A:Answer First of all, just know I’m not familiar with what a construction file consists of. Second, I tested a pdf file I have that is a book. And it has some drawings in it. Yes, I can zoom. But it is not a great experience. It’s clunky. It’s … delayed. The best way I know to describe Remarkable is that it is a digital notebook. It was designed to replace real like notebooks or planners or whatever. I now have all digital notebooks and my 20 something notebooks I had with project or book notes or whatever - I got rid of - all of my notebooks are in one place and I get to write in these notebooks and the experience is pretty close to writing in real paper notebooks. So many people want this tablet to do other things that other tablets do … but it just doesn’t. It doesn’t have the processing power. It wasn’t designed to. There are other tablets for those things. The only drawback is it is all grayscale - I can’t mark or highlight in color and since it was designed to replace notebooks - it is something I would have expected.

• A:Answer No. Remarkable does not have a colored screen - I really wish it did because I’m all about color coding and I want to doodle in color .. but it’s just not part of Remarkable. I hope they change that in the future.

Q: QuestionI noticed when ordering the Remarkable off of their website you get 100 days to try it and then can return it if not satisfied. Does Best Buy have that same deal or do I need to buy it direct in order to have that.

• A:Answer I don’t know. I ordered from Best Buy specifically so I wouldn’t have to deal with shipping from / to Australia if I had to return it for any reason. I had until today to return mine - it was extended holiday return time frame but nowhere near 100 days. It would have to be new in the box condition to return it though.
