If the display on the refrigerator is showing ERR, this could be an indication of a bad or damaged filter, the wrong filter having been installed or the installation of a non-GE filter. We recommend buying a genuine GE replacement filter and see if your issue is resolved. If the issue continues, please call GE Appliances service at 1-800-432-2737 to schedule a service appointment as there may be an issue with your refrigerator.
