QuestionHow can you sell something that requires batteries without telling what type and how many and how long they last?

- Answer Most people do basic research on a pricey item like this before buying, and often there is information not listed in the description like here, and yes, Best Buy should update their information in the description to state what it needs. That said, it took me about 20 seconds of clicking the link to the user manual to find out it takes 5 AA batteries and if you want to save pics to a file for uploading to a computer, a Micro SD card (only up to 32GB). You are welcome.

QuestionCan these be used through windows? I understand some night vision goggles can not be used through windows due to the reflection of the beams. If i want to use from inside the house to see the back yard, can i do so without having to go outside?

- Answer No. They do not have the regular eyepieces that normal binoculars use. There is an internal viewscreen that needs to be powered.
