For my car yes I drill because I wanted to be in the center but you can put it with your rear plate screws so you don’t have to make a whole and you can run the wires with the license plate lights

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No you don't have to drill a hole in your car. you can feed the wire for the back up cam through the tag, light, or even through the grommet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hey Brett, The rear camera comes with screws that you can use, but it also has a double sided adhesive tape you can use to mount it. Drawback with the tape is in warmer areas / direct sunlight it’ll melt the adhesive making the rear camera dismount. Looking to replace the adhesive with a more durable one and that should fix it to be honest. -Justin (I’ve purchased and installed 2 of these kits, so I still am a returning customer).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you will have to drill two small holes to mount it. You could try 3M Double sided tape. I do not know how well it will hold up to the weather.
