The best way to reduce glare is to point the camera further down so the headlights and sun do not cause the glare. We also recommend driving with the screen saver on and using the mirror as a regular rearview mirror while the device records.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's not possible. The rear camera uses a Sony Starlight (I believe that's what it's called) that gathers available light to add it to a dark picture. Unfortunately, this also includes headlights which results in a blown-out overcorrection on the screen. Disappointing considering how well everything else works. I've contacted Rexing and verified that there is no way to adjust the amount of light correction given to the image.
