According to the manual, you need active 3-D glasses , not passive 3-D glasses. Also they specifically need to be a” DLP link” type 3-D glasses. They do need to be rechargeable as well. They cost about $70 for four glasses. Or $42 for two glasses. Passive glasses for 3D from movie theaters will not work with this projector.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It requires you purchase active DLP 3D glasses. You only need one projector, not two.

For the 3D feature it will display and play any 3D video or movie regularly and all you need to have are 3D glasses, yes like the ones in the theatres. You only need to have 1 projector. A bonus is it comes with a mini tripod which honestly is very portable, versatile and easily to set up and position.
