Hello! Unfortunately, if the dashcam was not connected to the fuse box through a hardwire kit, you would not be able to make use of the parking mode features. It is a shame the technician did not want to install the hardwire kit!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you get the hard wire kit that has the parking mode wiring. you can still hard wire it with a female lighter plug to the fuse box or wiring in the car so it leaves your power port (lighter) open for other things.
