No, Car play does not allow You tube

No. Devices that enable youtube use the carplay interface of the radio to display its own OS. Meaning the youtube app or whatever it displays is actually running on the dongle. Not the phone.

You can listen to YouTube videos. But if you’re asking does it put YouTube videos on the dash. Then no, CarPlay doesn’t allow that.
