• A:Answer Hi quebecguy, You should not have to remove the USB wireless transmitter when turning off your PC. Here is a guide to RIG 800 PRO series wireless transmitter colors: RED LED indicator light on the USB adapter means there is power to the USB adapter, but it is not connected to the headset. •PURPLE LED (Pink?) indicator light on the USB adapter means your headset is connected to the adapter. •BLUE/RED flashing LED indicator light on the USB adapter means your adapter is in pairing mode and ready to be paired with the headset once the headset is put in pairing mode. • A:Answer Hello DDuhe30, The RIG 800 PRO HS primarily uses the multi-function charging base to recharge. So once the cable is plugged into the back of the base, unless you are traveling quite a bit, you usually never see the cable again. Original version RIG 800 PRO HS came with a micro-USB to USB-A cable. The micro-USB end plugs into the back of the multi-function charging base station. Q: QuestionMy headset has been “charging” for 2 hours and still won’t turn on. The base has been blinking red for 5 minutes and then it will turn off randomly for a short while but when I try to turn my headset on it tells me it needs charge. I’ve had it for 2 month

• A:Answer Hello Kolton, The RIG 800 PRO HS (Headset PlayStation) was never intended to work with Xbox. This version of RIG 800 PRO headset, and it's included wireless transmitter, does not have the Xbox authentication chip so it is advertised for use only with PlayStation PS4, PS5 and Windows PCs. The RIG 800 PRO HX (Headset Xbox) has the Microsoft authentication chip for use with Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Xbox Series S. When the adapter on the HX version is set to "PC", it will also work with PCs, PS4, PS5 and docked Nintendo Switch. Q: QuestionIs there an application for PC that allows you to see the status of the headphones such as the volume level of the speakers/mic and the battery charge level?

• A:Answer Hello astonerii, There is no app for volume or battery level but there are easy ways to get this info while using the RIG 800 PRO HS on a PC. For battery level, simply do a short press of the power button (left ear cup) and the headset will audibly give you the battery level. For volume level, when you adjust volume using the on-ear master volume dial (left earcup, lower dial), a visual battery level will show from the Windows 10/11 system audio settings - typically appearing in the lower, center part of the screen. Q: QuestionSo this is my second pair of rig 800 hs I love them but this new pair won't work unless I put the dongle directly into a USB on my ps5i would prefer to have the dongle in the charging base

Q: QuestionThe wireless dongle is inserted in the docking station and the docking station is connected to my pc. Yet there is no wireless connection. The dongle is set to pc , headset is fully charged and paired. Wireless dongle connection works propely.

• A:Answer Hi Slickster, We would need to know more about the wireless adapter - is it plugged directly into your PlayStation or PC or is it plugged into the charging base and then into your PlayStation or PC? What color is the indicator light on the adapter? It should be red when powered but not connected, purple when it's connected to the headset. If it's red and the headset says "not connected", you may need to do a manual pairing of the headset to the wireless adapter. Q: QuestionI got my headset today and i dont believe it works. The base turns blue once plugged in then turns off. However when i try to turn the headset on it stays off. The only way to turn it on and connect is by plugging it into my playstation and turning it on.

• A:Answer Hi Seth, When you plug in the RIG 800 PRO base, it should turn blue at first and then go out. Once you set your headset in the base, it should blink red a few times and then stay steady red while charging. Once the headset is fully charged, the red light goes out. Please note, it's a good long 3 second press-and-hold on the power button on the headset to turn the headset on. Also, when you put the headset on the charging base while it's powered on, it will power itself off in about 4-5 minutes for more efficient charging. When you remove it from the base, you will have to power it back on. You can also try direct charging it by plugging the charging cable into a charging port, like the USB port on a laptop, and directly into the headset. The indicator light on the headset should be red indicating charging and will go out once fully charged. If your RIG 800 PRO HS is not behaving this way, you can contact RIG Customer Support via email at [email protected] if you need warranty service.
