Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Theoretically, they could but they aren't intended to. Assuming you could locate them appropriately on your garage door, I think you'd probably run into problems with when/how they are triggered. If your system is set to "home", your alarm would go off immediately whenever you open your garage. If the alarm is set to "away", you'd have a preset time to disarm it before the alarm goes off. Seems clunky to use it that way. If you already have the ring system and are looking for a garage system, it's worth a try, but I certainly wouldn't invest in the ring alarm just to try the garage solution. If you're looking for a smart garage system that is alexa compatible I would recommend the Aladdin system, which is what I use.
