• Yes , z-wave communication. But rather sure this does not communicate directly with Schlage locks that are z-wave.

• Hello AutoFL8Brian, Yes, the Ring Alarm Keypad is a Z-wave device but if you want to connect your Z-wave lock you will also need the Ring Alarm Base Station. Best regards, Jamila
