• Ethernet provides fast and reliable connection. I am using WiFi without issue.

• Ethernet is better for steady connectivity if you can connect to Ethernet. Your WiFi bandwidth depends on how many devices are connected and can reach a bottleneck if you don't have high enough bandwidth and have too many devices on the WiFi

• According to Ring, if you plan on integrating any number of the ring cameras then, you would benefit from the higher speed that a direct connection to your router will provide. However WiFi is still a reliable option in that circumstance.

• Great question, Neighbor! There's no benefit to either, you can connect your Ring Alarm Base Station to whichever is more convenient for you.
