You can remove the battery and charge it with a standard USB charging plug. If you only have one battery, the unit will be turned off while the battery is recharging, so the best solution is to purchase an extra battery "Ring - Quick Release Rechargeable Lithium-ion Battery for Select Devices". With two batteries, one is always ready when the other one needs to be replaced.

To charge the battery in your Ring Battery Doorbell Plus, use a common micro-USB cable, such as the orange one included in your Ring product box. Simply remove the battery from your device and plug it into any USB power source. Your battery can take around 5–10 hours to fully charge, depending on whether the USB cable is plugged into a USB port or a wall outlet. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We chose to buy a second battery as they are rechargeable. That way there is no lag time to charge the battery. I believe they are around $35 at Best Buy.
