Hi Lilo9169, To piggyback on the previous answer given by the community member below; no, we do not presently have a solar solution for hardwired devices such as the Ring Floodlight Cam. While each of our hardwired solutions require specific amperage to function, the Ring Floodlight Cam requires between 110-240 VAC to operate. We can appreciate the value of this question, as It's important to consider solutions to continue to power your device if there is no power. However, we do feel it is important to note that without a source of power from the home, there is likely to not be wifi available either. Your experience with Ring is impactful on our future as a company, and we would love to hear from you directly on our Ring Community forum. If you have any experiences to share, questions regarding Ring and our services, or any feedback and product suggestions, we encourage you to have your voice be heard: https://community.ring.com/! All the Best, Caitlin with Ring
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not believe that is an option. The solar panel does not output enough to power this larger camera and light. Also, they do not sell a unit with rechargeable batteries which the solar panel would have to attach to. Perhaps you could find an aftermarket solar panel with battery that just had a regular wired connection for devices. The only option with solar I believe ring has is the smaller camera, I have one of those and they work OK but not as well as this larger unit. Maybe try to get creative and figure a way to get power to your preferred location.
