Ring Chime is just the inside audible door bell. The Ring Chime Pro is the doorbell plus the WIFI range extender if you are having trouble connecting to your network.

Generally, a single Chime Pro can effectively improve connectivity to your Ring devices in a two to three bedroom home, or if your devices are located close together. A Ring Chime does not have the wifi network booster capabilities, so it's just an audio alert notification device. Otherwise there is no difference and the wired ring will work with the chime from your existing doorbell.
