I have 2800 sq ft house I can hear it very clearly through whole hose

Hello, The Ring Chime Pro is a wifi extender exclusive to Ring devices. By installing one, you'll be able to pair your Ring Video Doorbells and Cameras to the Chime Pro Network for improved connectivity. Each home's unique layout will affect how far this device's network will reach. Please bear in mind that heavy-duty materials such as brick, metal, cement and large appliances can affect a wifi signal. This is dependent on a lot of factors. It's distance and obstructions between the main router and the chime pro, and between the chime pro and ring devices connected to it. You will need to test to find a good midpoint between your ring device and router where there is strong enough signal to repeat, then place the chime pro there and test its signal strength (measured in db) from the router and to the ring device. The device health screen on the ring device in the app will give you signal strength estimates. It should be shown as RSSI and then a negative number. If the number is green, then it's good signal. Yellow will usually work but have dropouts and glitches. Red will rarely work.
