There are 2 screws in the box or use 2 small screws of your choosing. Just slide the very bottom part of the base down, (Opposite the "UP" direction indicated) Mount the plate in the propper orientation, and slide the camera back onto it. Use the app to invert the image if needed.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Acfh. Great question! The base does not detach from the Ring Indoor Cam. You can install the Ring Indoor Cam upside down. Depending on the way your Indoor Cam (1st Gen or 2nd Gen) is placed—usually when it's mounted on the ceiling—you may find that Live View and videos are upside down.
