“I need to find a camera that I can put on my window sill for my automobile protection. My car was vandalized last night by daughter and I need something that I can put on my window sill to catch her. I'm not very educated on this. Thanks”

Hello Jackie. In order to get proper motion detection, Ring battery-powered cameras using passive infrared motion detection, such as the Stick Up Cam, should not be placed facing a window or in front of a glass door. We recommend mounting the device outside to get the most accurate motion detection. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This camera would work in your situation. When setting it up, the app asks if the camera will be looking inside of your house or outside, so it appears to have a distinct setting for recording through the window.
