  • QuestionDo I need the ring light bridge if I already have a ring doorbell ?

    Asked by Mcs.

    • Answer Hello Mcs, Thank you for reaching out! I would like to ensure you are provided with accurate information regarding the Ring Bridge. The Ring Bridge is the central hub that integrates Ring Smart Lights, Motion Sensors, and Transformers into your Ring system. The Bridge connects to the Ring app using your home wifi network and connects to other Ring Smart Lighting products using a proprietary long-range communication protocol. Without the Ring Bridge, your Smart Lights function only as individual units. With a Bridge, you can control whole groups of Smart Lights and other Ring products at once and be notified via the Ring app when any light or Motion Sensor senses movement. If you would like to find out more about our Ring Bridge, and how this may help control your home security, please follow this link from our Help Center: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/360025181851-Ring-Smart-Lighting-Bridge-Information#What_is_the_Ring_Bridge I would like to welcome you to contact us as your convenience if you have any additional questions or concerns in the future: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406-Contact-Us Kind Regards, Caitlin with Ring
