A:AnswerHi BatteryDoorbellPlus.
Good question! Yes, the Ring Quick Release Rechargeable Battery is compatible with the Ring Battery Doorbell Plus. Ring Battery Doorbell Plus is Ring’s upgraded smart doorbell with super-clear HD+ video and an expanded head-to-toe field of view.

A:AnswerHi maria.
Great question! When the battery in one of your battery-operated Ring cameras or doorbells falls below a 30% charge, your Ring app will warn you with a low battery notification. This notification can be found in three different places within the app: You’ll receive a low battery message similar to the motion notices you currently receive. You’ll see a red "low battery" icon on your device dashboard. You’ll see a red dot that opens into a "battery tip" on your event timeline.

A:AnswerMy local BestBuy had the batteries in stock and were picked up same day, i also bought a charging dock since i have multiple cameras and it is easier to have multiples charging at same time. The dock did have to be shipped as it was not in stock
A:AnswerI have a ring door bell and a stick up cam camera and use the batteries for both. So far so good. I bought 2 extra batteries so when thay get low I charge up the other 2 and just switch batteries. No down time for door bell or camera.
A:AnswerIt depends on the number of activations. The higher the sensitivity, means more activations, which leads to shorter battery life. I am getting 3 to 5 weeks per charge.

A:AnswerHi Lassie.
We appreciate the time you have taken to ask this question. Batteries may not work as well after years of use. If your battery is not working as it should, here are a few things to check. You may also try using a second battery.
Too many motion events:
The more Live Views, linked events, and motion events your device is performing, the more often you will need to recharge your battery. To make your battery last longer, adjust your Motion Settings to a lower level of sensitivity, adjust Motion Zones, change Motion Frequency to Regularly or Periodically, adjust the direction of your Ring device away from busy areas, or unlink your Ring devices.
Cold weather:
Rechargeable batteries, like the one in your Ring device, will drain faster when it is cold outside.
Poor wifi connection:
If your wifi connection is weak, your doorbell or camera might keep losing connection and then reconnecting. This can make your battery run out faster. You can check how strong your connection is by looking at something called the RSSI (Received Signal Strength Indicator) in your device's health settings.
Over-charging batteries:
Charging batteries too much can cause them to run out of power faster and take longer to charge. To help your battery last longer, stop charging when it gets to about 90%. Ring solar-powered, plugin, and wired devices that have a Ring Battery Pack automatically stop charging before 100% to protect batteries from wearing out.

A:AnswerHi Battery.
We appreciate the time you have taken to ask this question. The Ring Quick Release Rechargeable Battery takes up to 10 hours to fully charge. This can vary on whether the USB cable is plugged into a USB port or a wall outlet. While charging, both lights will be lit on the battery. You’ll know charging is complete when only one light on the battery is lit.
