Typically they last about a month on a charge. It depends on how often the camera turns on and off. The battery compartment holds two batteries which would last longer than just one. I purchased the solar panels. Best way to go. Batteries stay charged 100%.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is where the Ring wireless cameras lose cool points. I installed mine on 10/27/17 & I’m getting alerts my battery is low on 11/01/17. Batteries were charging for a full day before install.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The battery is rated 6000mAH. Each camera can hold 2 batteries. The original Ring Doorbell has a built-in 5000mAH battery and lasts me 4 months before requiring a charge. This is with motion sensor turned on.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It comes with one battery pack, but does hold 2 of them. It is the same removable, rechargeable pack that the 2nd version of the doorbell now has. You can buy them from Ring. I installed 3 weeks ago a Ring 2 doorbell and have been so impressed with it that I purchased and installed a wired spotlight camera and a floodlight camera this weekend. I plan to purchase 2 of the battery version spotlight cameras as well.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Assuming average use, the batteries should give you six months of life before needing to be recharged.
