With a Ring Protect Plan, your Ring device will record motion events detected as well as Live View requests. While you cannot continuously record, you can adjust the recording length in the Ring application. Ring devices have been designed so that they’re customizable for your lifestyle and security needs. Personalizing the appropriate video recording length for your hardwired doorbells and cameras is a big part of incorporating Ring devices into your home.
