Yes, I use mine to check on my dog throughout the day. That was not my main reason for the purchase, but nice added benefit.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can, all Ring cameras and doorbells have a live view feature. You can use this feature to see what is happening around your camera. The camera also has two way audio, you can listen and talk to your pet. Ring devices work fine (image quality and connectivity) but you will need a strong internet connection and Wi-Fi (for the wireless cameras). My experience is that Ring wireless cameras do not work well if your Wi-Fi signal is less than perfect. You won't have Wi-Fi issues when using the wired stick-up camera in wired mode buy it would need an ethernet connection to your home network.
