“How do you charge the battery? how long does it last on a charge?”

I had my battery charging yesterday for 9 hours and today for 12 hours. 21 hours total so far and still not fully charged. If I have to charge this long o can not recommend this product as I’m not happy with that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.On the Ring 2, the battery is a pack about the size of 2 AA batteries. Ring provides a cable to charge same. Battery lasts around 6 months with minimal useage, but the more you use it, the sooner it will need charged. Buy an extra battery pack for $20 and keep it charged.

I didn't even fully charge mine out of the box (was too excited to try it) and I've had it for almost two months now and still going strong. At some point will need to charge - I think I'll be buying second battery to pre-charge though for when the first one runs out.

The micro-USB cable can be plugged into any USB power source such as a computer. Your Ring Video Doorbell 2 will take around 5 to 10 hours to fully charge depending on whether the USB cable is plugged into a USB port or into a wall outlet. After install it uses a trickle charge from the doorbell wiring to stay charged and can last 6 months+ before needing another charge. They sell separate battery packs as well if needed.

I've had it for about a week, came with about a 50% charge, I charged it overnight and put it back in. It's been about a week and it's still at 100% battery.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Charge it via USB and I charge it over night. I bought a spare so I always have a fully charged battery ready. It lasts about 6-8 weeks on a full charge and takes about 5 minutes to swap one out for the other.
