Hi Debbie, The Ring Video Doorbell 3 has all the same great features of the Ring Video Doorbell and Ring Video Doorbell 2. The difference is it adds a number of new features on top of them. These include: Dual band wifi that work on both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks, 1080p HD video with night vision, Two-way talk with noise cancellation and Privacy zones. Thank you, Ring Team

Please try again later.in addition, the ring doorbell 3 has replaceable battery pack. when your battery needs charged (if you buy a second battery for about 30.00) you can just take one out and put fully charged one in. with ring or ring gen 2 you have to take the unit in to recharge the battery, similar to a cell phone.
